New to TMS for Windows? Or looking for a review of basic TMS features? Attend TMS Tuesday, an onboarding and refresher training for TMS for Windows users.
In this online course, our trainers bring museum professionals up to speed on TMS for Windows and its core functionality. We'll guide you across the learning curve as you pick up the skills and fundamentals you need to start using TMS effectively.
Each participant receives a unique TMS for Windows demo database login.
Audience
TMS for Windows users. The training is appropriate for:
New users (new staff, museum studies students, job seekers, etc.)
Existing users who want to refresh their TMS knowledge
Prerequisites
None. TMS Tuesday is designed for users with little to no experience.
Course Objectives
TMS Tuesday covers essential functions of TMS for Windows, especially those related to Objects, Media, and Constituents.
After this session, you'll have a good working knowledge of TMS and should feel confident creating object records, linking constituents, creating packages, and managing location moves in TMS.
Recommended Setup
TMS Tuesday has been designed with a hands-on approach. For an optimal learning experience, we recommend the following setup:
Strong internet connection
A two-monitor workspace setup
Hands-free phone or a headset
Ability to use remote desktop
